Based with the Center for Ocean Solutions (COS) in Monterey, CA, Kimberly strives to promote healthy oceans and fisheries through supporting the fishery management process and building capacity among decision makers. Kimberly represented the Fisheries Forum at Duke’s Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions before joining the team at COS.
Prior to joining the Fisheries Forum in 2009, Kimberly worked as an environmental educator, marine mammal trainer and analytical chemist. Kimberly received a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of California at Santa Cruz, and a Master's degree in Coastal Environmental Management from Duke's Nicholas School of the Environment. As a graduate student, Kimberly studied fisheries policy and helped to launch North Carolina’s first Community Supported Fishery program.
